Level Progression is a system built around advancing the Pilot’s experience incrementally through gameplay. Experience Points (XP) are what contribute to gaining Levels.
Genesis suits have an XP multiplier and earn players XP faster than those with Starter Suits. The amount of XP you earn is based on what suit you equip during your time in the races.
As mentioned by Kevin, our Founder & CEO, and documented in our Medium article, we have plans to evolve our Point system, and racing with Genesis suits plays a role in how you earn rewards through a few XP modifiers, depending on the suit you are wearing.
You can see your Level from the persistent Profile snapshot at the top right or alongside other player Data by clicking on “Profile”. You can also see your Level by navigating to the XP Leaderboard in the Leaderboards section from the Dashboard.
As we start to shape a ranked experience from a development standpoint, it’s still important to ensure we do our best to filter competition by different skill levels.
XP points will be among a few factors we test to segment competitive opportunities as we continue our Path to Beta.
